Islam Class in Sendai #1

Islamic Cultural Center Sendai (ICCS) has conducted the “Islam Class in Sendai”. Islam Class in Sendai is an event where you can learn (in Japanese) about Islamic teachings, cultures, and many more, from the basics.

The first Islam Class in Sendai was held on Sunday, November 25, 2018, in Sendai Mosque, 7-24 Hachiman 7-chome, Aoba-ku, Sendai-shi .

The Lecturer, Ust. Saeed Sato (Researcher and Imam at the Arab-Islamic Institute, Tokyo) gave a brief talk about “Islam from the viewpoint of the food culture”.

The lecture was followed by having lunch together with a Pakistani curry. The participant was able to deeply learn and understand about Islam and food as a part of the culture. Everybody enjoy the lecture and the party!
